Assume nothing

AI tools can write confident sentences that are wrong. Treat every fact in a draft as unconfirmed until you check it.

Ask for a claims list

Add a line to your prompt asking the AI to list every factual claim it used. This turns a long script into a short checklist.

Check two sources

For each claim, look for two reliable sources, such as official pages, museums, universities or established encyclopedias. If they disagree, say so or remove the claim.

Watch quotes and numbers

Quotes and statistics are the most common errors. Find the original source or cut them.

Label fiction and dramatization

If part of your video is imagined, say so on screen and in the caption.

Try it

Example prompt
From the script above, list every factual claim as a numbered list. For each one, tell me what type of source could confirm it. Do not add new facts.

AI-assisted content. Check facts before you publish.
